Project Description

6 Weeks Training Course with V02 Max at start and end – Starting every 2 weeks

Join us in our fully registered and staffed testing lab for a test on a static bike that will determine your maximum oxygen take up per minute. This figure is useful for setting training schedules and for comparing fitness levels across a period of training. Put simply, the more oxygen your body can produce, the harder you’ll be able to work and the better results you will achieve, so by comparing this throughout the year you’ll be able to check your progression and adapt your training accordingly.

Your initial test takes place with one of our own staff and one of the clinical team at Weston College and takes around an hour for the whole process (the test will be shorter than this, but we’ll brief and debrief you during your hour). You will then be given a training plan based on your results and will receive a call each week to check on your progress and explain your training for the following week.

You will then be re-tested at the end of the 6 week block to check your progress and allow you to moderate your training and race plan for the rest of the season based on your adaption to the training.

Cost £450 for an hours consultation, initial Vo2 Max test, a training plan based on your results, weekly call to discuss training needs and a final Vo2 Max test to check progress.
